One day I could not work any longer on an embroidery collier because the leather is quite tough and my fingers needed a vacation. So I decided to make a bag using soft leather.
I googled to get some ideas about middleage bags and found beadwork of Beatrice Childress. She uses really nice special beads like berries, little leaves and more. More about her little bags you can read on her website: laffbyrd.
Because the bags from Beatrice are so different to what I have made till now I tried to copy one, especially the style.
I used materials I already had, czech beads, a broken necklace and some pearls from Asia.
When I made the little bag I even got some good ideas for a middleage bag.
